Volvo Trucks found the study so compelling it has been inspired to offer healthcare advice to its drivers in the Netherlands.
The group has decided to offer its employees tips on exercising on the road, eating well and the best seating positions – as part of their initial training.

Spokesman Charles Engelaar commented: “Since there is a strong link between food and traffic safety, we felt that it was important to put health firmly on the agenda.”

Meanwhile, light commercial vehicle drivers in the UK may want to see if a change of diet makes them feel more alert at the wheel.
If it does, individuals may be in a better position to stay safe and protect their cheap van insurance premiums.

Choosing cheap van insurance has always been a problem for a lot of people I know and I happen to be one of them. Finding cheap car insurance is bad enough but finding cheap van insurance is an absolute nightmare, or at least it was in the past before price comparison sites were invented. They really are a little miracle because you can save hundreds off your insurance premiums every year and put money back into the household budget every month.
